She had her first film role with Down Twisted. She gained fame for playing one of her biggest roles in Scream. Film was hugely successful on the international market and made over eleven times its budget. The film was also praised by the reviewers. Her character was the same in three sequels to the film. When she portrayed the lead character in Friends, her popularity soared. There were numerous nominations and awards for her performance. The show, which became an instant hit, was aired in the tv channel for 10 years. The most recent of her works is a supporting part in the film drama Mothers and Daughters. The actress has received numerous prizes, including the TV Guide Award and Golden Derby Award.
