Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of fourteen. She was a kickboxer, boxer and wrestling prior to making her first amateur appearance at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was on a stunning 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent in the very first round. After that, she went to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was superior to Aspen, and beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's records as a professional were affected. Ladd rebounded from her loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, bringing her record up to 8-1. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11 saw her dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta defeated her at bantamweight and won via armbar submission during the second round. Aspen used superior wrestling to defeat McGill in the third round via TKO. Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing the catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd was unable to reach her weight. However, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. Aspen won her fight by KO in the 2nd round. Invicta FC, 21 was her last promotion fight. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound in the second round to secure a TKO victory. She continued to dominate and scored a more impressive win when she fought Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger within the first minute and received a bonus for her performance during the night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first fight she had in any major way. Ladd was victorious in the unanimous decision after an intense back and forth battle among the pair of fighters got her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie stopped Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. After a short break, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. She lost by unanimous decision.
